Installing electric and automated gates is a lot simpler and quicker than you may imagine.
Your gate installer will initially survey the site to assess the work required.
Factors including the terrain, the existing layout, the availability of a power supply, and the materials you want to use, will all have a bearing on the final cost of the project, and the length of time it will take to install your new gates.
You don’t generally need planning approval unless:
• your gates will be over two metres high;
• your home is a listed building; or
• you live in a conservation area.
